EVENT POSTERS / FLYERS

Most of these posters and fliers were from events with Interlobate, an event and music promotion company my friend and current boss ran in the early and mid 2000's.

Before working for Sustainable Supply, I teamed up with the owner, my current employer, and a friend from college to promote music events. I worked with the team at Interlobate Music to create all sorts of marketing material for local and national acts.

When working on posters that will be hung up around town at coffee shops, book stores, and other hot spots I was able to learn about the best approach for this form of marketing.

If the band is well known, make that the headline. If the band is not well known, make the genre of music the headline. If you can first pull people in and get their attention with the visual design that matches the feel of the music you can then give them more information such as the time, location, and date of the event.
